When we talk about our plans about the future in everyday life, we need to use future tense. However, it may be necessary to use different vocabulary structures for different verbs when talking about future tenses. For example, if the action we are talking about about the future requires continuity, we should sometimes use future continious tense.

Positive Sentence in Future Continious Tense

Because in the future continious tense structure, we need to bring -ing suffix to the simplest forms of verbs. There are no other rules we need to memorize about the use of verbs. Therefore it is very easy to use future continious tense.



It is possible to construct positive sentences in the future continious tense in two different structures. We will give you detailed information about these two different structures.

  • Subject + am / is / are + going to + Verbing + Object
  • Subject + Will + Be + Verbing + Object

Negative Sentence in Future Continious Tense

If you want to learn the structure of the Negative Sentence in Future Continious Tense, all you have to do is change the entire structure of the sentence with a small suffix. The suffix should be used in a negative sentence structure as ‘’not’’ . You can use this suffix in the same structure.

  • Subject + am / is / are + not + going to + Verbing + Object
  • Subject + Will not / won’t + Be + Verbing + Object
